Do I need a visa to go to Portugal?No, you just need a passport valid for at least 6 months! If coming from Ecuador, yes a visa is required. You can see more information here.

Which airport should I fly into?We recommend flying into the Francisco Sá Carnerio Airport in Porto, Portugal (OPO). Our wedding weekend is in Braga, approximately 35 minutes from OPO via Uber or Taxi.

When do I need to RSVP?Please RSVP by May 15th, 2025 via our wedding website under the RSVP section. You can also contact us directly if ​you have any issues.

Is there a dress code?We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is Black Tie. Please refrain from traditional wedding colors like white, champagne and ivory. Click here for inspiration!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?We kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment, and we will be happy to share the photos with you!

Will there be an open bar?Yes, there will be an open bar during the reception.

Are children invited to the wedding?We love your kids, but our wedding is an adults-only event.

What time should I arrive?Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony ​begins to ensure you are seated and ready.

Will transportation be provided?Yes, we will provide shuttle services between the hotel and the venue. We highly recommend this!

Is Portugal a safe country?Yes, it is one of the safest countries in the world – making it a popular destination for families, older travelers, and solo female travelers. Normal safety precautions should still be followed as in any country.

Will there be a language barrier for non-Portuguese speakers?While Portuguese is the official language, many locals speak English & Spanish, especially in tourist areas.
